Morganne De Toi

Morganne De Toi arose out of a personal response to family tragedy. A visual poem that touches on themes of desire, metamorphosis, memory, mortality, and emancipation, Morganne De Toi became a container for my own narrative. Set in a location stripped bare of extraneous decoration, we witness a series of moments, each seeming to occur just before or after a larger action. The narrative is intentionally ambiguous, inviting the viewer to fill in the missing information, arranging and rearranging the sequence to best suit their unique perspective.

Morganne De Toi debuted at H Gallery, Paris, February 22 - March 31, 2018.
