I am pleased to announce that I will participate in my second group show with Blue Spiral 1: GO FIGURE.

GO FIGURE is a multi-disciplnary survey of figurative art, from the photographic and sculptural, to the painterly and graphic. The exhibition will encompass the main gallery at Blue Spiral and run from May 3rd through June 29th, 2019.

Incorporating painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and textiles, Go Figure explores personal interpretations and approaches to the figure as wide ranging quilted portraits, cut and woven photographs, and life-size cast glass sculptures.

Winter is Here at Spoke Art, San Francisco

Negron_LotT_Night's King_72.jpg

The final season of Game of Thrones is right around the corner and I, for one, can’t wait to see how it all plays out. In honor of the battle yet to come, here’s a small watercolor I did of the The Night’s King for Spoke Art a few years back. This piece will once again be on display as part of WINTER IS HERE, a group show devoted to all things Westerosi, opening this weekend in San Francisco.

To enquire about the availability of this piece, email the gallery at events@spoke-art.com.
The show runs April 6th - 7th in San Francisco.
You can view details about the event HERE.

Spoke Art is pleased to present Winter is Here, an art show in tribute to “Game of Thrones.” Inspired by the series that captured us all, the exhibition features an array of original paintings, sculpture, embroidery and limited edition prints from artists around the world.

Over 70 artists were invited to participate, resulting in a dazzling display of character portraits, elaborate environments and iconic themes and motifs from the series. Captivating audiences around the world for the past eight years, the series has been wildly successful and has subsequently helped to bring the fantasy genre into homes across the globe.

Mondo Tondo at Arcadia Contemporary

I am honored to announce that my work will be included in Mondo Tondo, a group show opening this Saturday, March 16th, at Arcadia Contemporary in Pasadena, California. Many thanks to Artefex for supplying each artist in the show with a 24” diameter circular panel on which to make their work. For my piece, I chose to tackle the subject of Ophelia, drawing inspiration from a poem by French poet, Arthur Rimbaud.

On the calm black water where the stars are sleeping
White Ophelia floats like a great lily;
Floats very slowly, lying in her long veils...
- In the far-off woods you can hear them sound the mort.
— Arthur Rimbaud, Ophelia

Mondo Tondo is free and open to the public. The opening reception will be held Saturday, March 16th, from 6-9pm. If you would like to know more about the show or inquire about any of the works show, please contact info@arcadiacontemporary.com.

I will be showing a collection of seven watercolors, both recent and past works, including one, never before exhibited tondo.
